Irelands first Green Wedding Fair

Held at Castle Espie Wetland Centre outside Comber in Co. Down, the event will offer up planet-conscious alternatives from vintage and new dresses through to locally-sourced flowers and ethical favours.
Importantly it will illustrate how luxury doesn’t have to come at a cost either financially or environmentally, which is particularly poignant given climate change and the current economic situation.

Belleetik will be showcasing some fabulous dresses and accessories.

I just came across an article in the Guardian on forced child labour in Uzbekistan -

With the labels we have at Belleetik, we really are working in such a positive area, with so many designers, producers, cooperatives, development agencies, who are making huge efforts to bring out gorgeous collections, which are produced with respect for the environment & the people who make the clothes.
It really is shocking to be reminded of the gritty side of fashion and especially the prevalence of child labour in the industry.
